App “Baby Food Recipe Flashcards” · version of 21 September 2026

In short: the app gives general recipe ideas for babies and toddlers. It is not medical advice, it does not know your child, and you remain responsible for what your child eats. The “Plus” purchase is made with Apple or Google, not with us.

1. What this app is

Baby Food Recipe Flashcards suggests recipes for babies and toddlers from six months to three years, one card at a time, matched to the child's age and to the filters you set. The recipes were written for this app. It is offered free with advertising; a one-off purchase (“Plus”) removes the advertising, lifts the limit on saved recipes and lets you add more than one child.

2. What it is not

Not medical or dietary advice. The recipes, age ranges, texture suggestions and safety notes are general information for healthy, typically developing children. They do not take account of your child's health, growth, allergies, prematurity, reflux, swallowing difficulties or any other individual circumstance. Always follow the advice of your paediatrician, health visitor or dietitian, and the guidance of your national health authority, over anything in this app.
Not a substitute for supervision. Every baby must be watched while eating. Choking is possible with any food. The app's notes on cutting, texture and hazardous foods are reminders, not a guarantee of safety.
Not an allergy tool. The allergen filters work from the ingredient lists as written. They cannot know what is in the products you buy, what your kitchen contains, or how a food is processed. If your child has, or may have, a food allergy, you must check every ingredient yourself and follow your doctor's plan for introducing allergens.
Not a religious certification. The halal, kosher, Hindu, no-pork and no-beef filters exclude recipes by their listed ingredients. The app cannot certify any food, ingredient or preparation method as compliant with a religious rule; that judgement is yours.
Not official. The app is not published, endorsed or reviewed by any health authority, paediatric association or other body. Where it refers to recommendations (for example on starting solids at six months, or on honey before twelve months), those recommendations belong to the organisations that issued them and can change.

3. Accuracy and currency

The recipes were written with care, but feeding guidance changes and differs between countries. The content reflects the state of general knowledge at the time of writing, and the translations were made for this app; where a translation and the English original differ, the English original applies. 4. Your licence

Installing the app gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use it on your own devices under the rules of the store you got it from. Sharing a recipe through the app's Share button, for your own family and friends, is allowed and intended. Beyond that you may not copy, extract, republish, resell or redistribute the recipe collection, the drawings or the translations, in whole or in part, or use them to train or evaluate a machine-learning system. The content is protected by copyright.

5. Advertising and “Plus”

The free version shows advertising served by Google. We do not choose the individual advertisements and are not party to any contract between you and an advertiser. How advertising data is handled is described in the privacy policy.

“Plus” is a one-off in-app purchase. Your purchase contract is with Apple or with Google, under their terms, and refunds are handled by them. If you reinstall the app or change device, use the store's “Restore purchases” function in the app. Statutory warranty rights and consumer guarantees apply and are not limited by these terms.

6. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For ordinary negligence we are liable only for breach of an obligation whose fulfilment makes proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on which you may reasonably rely, and then only for foreseeable damage typical of this kind of contract. Any liability beyond that is excluded. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right you have under mandatory consumer law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Governing law

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are habitually resident.

8. Changes

These terms may be updated for future versions of the app. The version that applies to you is the one published with the version of the app you are using; the date at the top says which that is.
